Columbia: 3,296 (record breaking in the history of Columbia, 5.4% increase)

Duke: about 3,200 (26% increase)

Georgetown: about 6,840 (staying about even with the last year's number of early applications)

Yale: 4,768 (5.6% increase)

U Penn: 5,133 (6.6% increase from last year's early pool, 41% increase from 2008)

Dartmouth: 1,678 (6.7% increase)

Princeton: 3,831 (21 more applications than last year; slight increase)

University of Georgia:12,000 applied, 7,500 accepted (62% admitted, 7% denied, around 1/3 deferred)

William & Mary: will accept 50 students more than last year.  1,200 applied more than last year

Williams: about 550 (last year: 618 applied) The admissions views the applicant pool as strong.
